Tender Description
The Purchaser regularly collects data on the end to end Journeys of users of the Victorian public transport networks. This is referred to as Origin Destination Data.
This data complements the Purchaser's ticketing system, patronage, market research and other survey data to understand demand, capacity of services and infrastructure, who is using public transport, where they are travelling to and from and why.
The information that is gathered supports strategic planning, network improvements and development, as well as operational management of the public transport services.
