Tender Description
Due to the increasing electrical demand and ageing infrastructure within the existing power station, a project has been raised to construct a new power station adjacent to the existing to meet future demands.
An overview of the works includes but is not limited to the demolition of existing buildings, refurbishment of the existing transformer bund, a new breezeway, generator canopy building, radiator slab and diversion of the access road. The existing VGS unit will be reused for the building works and the new power station will be built while the existing power station remains operational.
