Tender Description
The scope of the work is the design, manufacture, supply and warranty of 1250 kVA generators. The generator set will be used to supply power at temporary locations and various conditions as follows:-
(i) Directly to consumers' premises;
(ii) In parallel with other engine driven generators;
(iii) In parallel with the distribution network.
The generator set shall be enclosed in an acoustic canopy with a 20ft shipping container footprint and be transported to site by a side loading truck or flat bed and may be operated on site unattended.
The two (2) units will be delivered to an Ergon Energy depot in Banyo, Queensland.
The practical completion date for all work associated with this contract will be two (2) years from the date of execution of the Contract. Ergon Energy has provided for the option of a 1 x 12 month contract period extension. Ergon Energy will at its sole discretion determine if these extensions are to be offered to the successful Tenderer.
