Lane Cove Council is seeking Tenders from suitably skilled, experienced and resourced Quantity Surveying consultant organisations that can demonstrate a proven track record in delivering car park, retail, public open space and infrastructure projects in a Local Government environment.
The project is to be procured on a Design & Construct (D&C) basis. The successfully appointed consultant will be contracted to Council who are the owners / client / developer of the project. The appointed consultant shall be responsible for managing the cost of the project from tender stage to completion. A detailed scope of works required of the consultant is included in the RFT document.
The site presently operates as an on grade car park and is approximately 6,700m², bounded by Rosenthal Avenue and Birdwood Avenue in Lane Cove. The project comprises approximately 500 cars over four basement levels, loading and delivery facilities, a level of retail comprising a supermarket (3,660m²) and a mini major (1,100m²), and a state-of-the-art public open space on top supported by specialty retail.
