Tender Description
The scope of the work is the design, manufacture, testing and delivery of disconnectors and earthing switches for use in Ergon Energy substations.
Disconnectors and earthing switches are located in outdoor switchyards for the purpose of:
* Isolating and earthing of transmission and sub-transmission lines and cables
* Isolating and earthing of capacitor banks and reactors
* Connecting, isolating and earthing of transformers
* Connecting, isolating and earthing of busbars
The disconnectors required for this tender are:
* 36kV, 1600A, 25kA/3sec
* 72.5kV, 1250A, 25kA/3sec
* 145kV, 1250A, 25kA/3sec
* 245kV, 1250A, 25kA/3sec

The site of contract is the Ergon Energy distribution network area in Queensland and Delivery of Goods will be to one of Ergon Energy’s main warehouses located in Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton, Maryborough or Toowoomba.
The initial term of this Contract will be 3 years and 3 months from the date of the Agreement. Ergon Energy has allowed for term extension options of two (2) by one-year extensions in this Contract.
