Tender Description
This contract will require the successful tenderer to construct approximately 2300 metres of unsealed collector road in Devon Meadows.
Indicative works include 16,000 square metres of road pavement, 4600 metres of kerb, 1750 metres of drainage pipes, 50 pits, public lighting installation, 500 metres of guardrail, signage and linemarking.
A granitic walking trail shall be provided and 'As Constructed' Plans shall be submitted to Council at the completion of onsite activities - as part of the Practical Completion process.
Tenderers should note the required components of their submission, including Gantt Chart (start of May 2016 commencement assumed), Cover Letter, Financial Information and Sustainable Materials variation rates.
A site visit is recommended by primary and sub contractors, with consideration given to required traffic management, Melbourne Water requirements, tree removal / planning permit and specifically works in the proximity of the recycled watermain.
