Tender Description
Tenders are invited for the supply and installation of an International Basketball Federation (FIBA) compliant flooring system at the Maroochydore Basketball Stadium, Elizabeth Daniels Park, Buderim. The existing single court is being extended to accommodate two (2) new courts.
Works to be undertaken include, but are not limited to:
* Supply and installation of FIBA compliant flooring system;
* Includes footings, posts, bearers and joists;
* Includes skirting;
* Extends approximately 2 meters into existing building;
* Sanding/ line-marking and sealing of new and existing courts;
* Existing court will be line-marked for basketball only, new courts will be line-marked for basketball, futsal and volleyball;
* Repairing, sanding and sealing an approximately 4m wide section of boards between existing paying surface and new courts;
* Appropriate connection of existing court with new court; and
* Floor connections for four (4) futsal nets and three (3) volleyball nets - not on playing surface.
This is a lump sum construction contract. It is anticipated that the successful contractor will order the flooring system upon award of the contract, with installation works onsite to commence by 15 August 2016 and practical completion required by 30 September 2016.
