Tender Description

Ausgrid intends to approach the market within the first half of 2016, for the contracted supply of new Audio Frequency Controllers, which it will seek to install across its network and within its regional zone substations.

This new Equipment (the controllers) will work in unison with our existing Audio Frequency Load Control (AFLC) plant and our existing SCADA systems in order to control the generation and application of high frequency telegrams for our customer load control programs.

Ausgrid is presently in the process of seeking to strategically replace old legacy equipment, throughout its network, which provides this 'Audio Load Controller' function.

This Request for Information (RFI) has been deployed in order to gain a response from the market suppliers and to gain a greater understanding of the market capabilities. Ausgrid would like to examine what products and services are available, and what potential solutions are available within the open market.

This RFI briefly outlines various critical aspects which Ausgrid is seeking to address as part of the functional requirements of the Equipment. Ausgrid intends to capture this information to help develop its technical specification, ahead of going to tender in 2016.

Ausgrid would like your help as a potential supplier of equipment and services, in completing the survey below. Ausgrid would like to know whether your products can provide these capabilities and also hear any comments or feedback you might have.
