Queen Victoria Market Is Seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Commercial Organisations or Consortia, for provision of the following cleaning and Waste Management Services for a period of five (3+1+1) years.

The services required include: The provision of general cleaning and waste management services to Queen Victoria Market and includes the removal and disposal of all waste (solid and liquid) and the provision of sanitary/hygenic service.

A short list will be selected from the Tenders received and only respondents on this short list will be invited to continue the process.

It is envisaged that a single Commercial Organisation for Consortia will be awarded the contract to deliver all services.

Organisations or consortia expressing interest must have a proven track record in the area for which interest is expressed, and will be required to provide details of their experience, capabilities, references and relevant company financial documents.

Tender documents are available from 10:00 am Tuesday 1 March at Queen Victoria Market, Reception Area, Rear of 513 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne upon payment of a $1000 plus GST free. A mandatory formal briefing session will be held for interested parties as indicated in the documents, at which time specific queries will be answered and additional information provided as appropriate.

Registration for this briefing session will be necessary.

Tenders must be deposited in the Tender Box located in the Reception Area of the rear of 513 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, on or before 1:00 pm on 31 March 2016.

Tender submissions received after the closing time or by facsimile will not be accepted.

Queen Victoria Market is wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Melbourne.
