Lindfield Village Green - Design Consultant Services

⁠⁠⁠Ku-ring-gai Council invites submissions from Registered Architect or Landscape Architect led multidisciplinary teams to provide design consultancy services for the LVG project. Key elements of the project include;
* A public park and plaza;
* Public carparking both at-grade and in a two level basement structure;
* A cafe pavilion including public amenities;
* Landscape elements including water features, shade structures, and specialist lighting;
* Streetscape improvements to the surrounding streets and lanes;
* Integrated water management measures.

Council has adopted a concept design for the project which was prepared mid-2015 through a select tender and subsequent competition process. The purpose of these Services is to progress the Preferred Concept Plan to achieve planning permission (Development Consent).

About the Tender
The main objective of these Services is to develop the existing Preferred Concept Plan by carrying out planning and design work through the various Stages up until Development Application (DA) approval has been received. Following DA approval, Council intends to conduct a separate Tender for documentation of the project through to Contract for construction.

In undertaking the Services, the Consultant must, as a minimum:
* Organise and attend meetings, workshops and consultation with agencies and stakeholders, provide supporting documents, record outcomes and minute meetings held with the Council and other agencies;
* Co-ordinate with any relevant concurrent Consultants to ensure submissions are of sufficient quality and made in accordance with the program dates;
* Circulate documents to agencies and/ or other stakeholders for comment and make amendments as deemed necessary by the Principal;
* Compile and respond to agency comments; and
* Obtain approvals from all relevant agencies.
