Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the following contract:

Reconstruction Of Ashton Road, Kingston Street And Mountain Gate Drive, Ferntree Gully
The provision of a quality assured contract for the reconstruction of Ashton Road, Kingston Street and Mountain Gate Drive, Ferntree Gully, involving the following quantities: removal of concrete (1705sqm), removal of kerb and channel (3298m), removal of asphalt pavement (938sqm), 225mm diam RCP (156m), 300mm diam RCP (55m), concrete kerb and channel (2443m), vehicle crossings (570m) pram crossings (149m), concrete paving (957sqm) reinforced concrete paving (808sqm), asphalt overlay (13,736sqm) and associated pit modifications, signage, linemarking and landscaping.
Tenderers for this project are to be prequalified with the Civil Contractors Federation or Council approved equivalent.
Tenderers should note this contract will be for a period of twenty (20) weeks.
A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Knox City Council Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South, Conference Room 1 at 4.30pm, Thursday 10 March 2016.

Tenders must be submitted on forms supplied and be lodged in the Tender Box at the Civic Centre by 4.00pm Tuesday, 22 March 2016.
Tenders for all contracts must be lodged in the Tender Box on Level 1 at the Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South prior to the closing date in a sealed envelope endorsed with the description of tender and contract number. Facsimile or late submissions will not be considered. Council is not bound to accept the lowest and/or any tender.
