This is an update to the original advanced notice for CNS-16. The update is to advise that The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) is still on track to release an Offer. Please note: the DVA approach to market will now occur by mid-March 2016.
DVA currently has Community Nursing Services agreements (Deeds of Standing Offer) with multiple service providers that will expire on 30 June 2016.
The purpose of this notice is to update interested parties that DVA intends to release an Offer by mid-March 2016. The Offer will be released through AusTender to begin the process of establishing new Agreements with community nursing providers for the period 1 July 2016 onwards.
The Offer will be more streamlined than Deeds of Standing Offer and the response by providers will be more straightforward and simple compared to former Request for Tender (RFT) processes. When DVA releases the Offer, this will include full details of the new Agreement, any briefings and question and answer processes.
DVA will not be in a position to answer questions from providers or other interested parties prior to the release of the Offer on AusTender in mid-March 2016.
Please note: The original advance notice for CNS-16 included reference to a “close date” of 14 March 2016. This is not the actual close date for responding to the Offer. To satisfy AusTender administrative procedures, DVA was required to include a “close date” in the advance notice. Likewise, the close date identified for this advanced notice will not be the close date for the Offer.
