The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) require the provision of cleaning services for the new Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) from the practical completion (PC) until the full operations. The anticipated time period of the proposed Contract is twenty six (26) weeks.

Prior to the PC and building handover the builders will clean the Hospital to the standard set out in their contract, which is not in compliance with the standard required for clinical operations in a hospital.

The successful Respondent will be required to:
* Undertake an initial clinical clean for all areas to specified standards (including ‘lock down’ procedures for sterile, extreme risk and high risk areas);
* Undertake regular, periodic and day cleaning to facilitate building occupancy between the initial occupancy and full operations of the hospital. These services will be gradually transferred to the PCH internal staff;
* Pass the required standard of microbiological air sampling/testing for sterile areas such as the theatre complex. Testing will be carried out by PCH Infection Prevention and Control. ;
* If required repeat clinical cleaning to pass the microbiological air sampling test before patient activity is commenced; and
* Assist with the transition and commissioning plan of the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) cleaning workforce as clinical activities at PCH ramp up; this will include training and way finding around the site; whilst ramping down their activities.
