VicRoads invites Tenders for the design and development of Victoria's Practical Safe Driving Program (PSDP). The PSDP is a driver education and training program that will involve capability development for beginner drivers and their supervising drivers.
The Program, through the development of capabilities in the form of foundational knowledge, skills and behaviours for safe driving, is designed to play a role in supporting and enhancing Victoria’s Graduated Licensing System. The Program will link with school curricula in Victoria.
The PSDP for the beginner driver will:
* Involve a core audience of Year 10 students or equivalent
* Design and develop, including pilot test, face to face delivery components, comprising both in class and in car components
* Design and develop, including pilot test, a school “toolkit” to assist teachers to extend lessons and reinforce key messages
* Design, but not develop, a digital e learning component to integrate the face to face components, extend lessons and reinforce key messages and
* Design and develop, including pilot test, facilitator curricula.
The PSDP for the supervising driver will:
* Involve the design only of a digital e learning component to support those in the role of supervising drivers to provide capability development.
