Tender Description
The Contractor shall construct the civil works associated with the second stage of the remediation of the old Dalby Central Substation Site as indicated on the drawings and described in the “Dalby Central Remediation Plan for Stage 2 Area”, Ergon Energy Environmental Management Plan and the Specification.
The site has been used historically for the supply of electricity to the town of Dalby. Prior to its use as a substation the site was used for generation of electricity with gas powered engines. Plant on the site generated gas from both coal and timber. The contaminants identified on the site are largely from this early use.
