Tender Description
Wyong Shire Council intends to reconstruct Hume Boulevard, between Sturt Street and Yangoora Street, Killarney Vale. The proposed works include full depth pavement reconstruction, kerb and gutter, and an upgrade to the stormwater drainage system. Detailed designs have been developed by the Council’s design consultant and works shall be implemented in accordance with the design and applicable specifications and standards.
The extent of road reconstruction works is approximately 300m long, including short adjoining lengths of Sturt Street and Yangoora Street involving the upgrade and relocation of watermain crossings at these intersections. The works also include battering from the kerb line to the boundary on each side of Hume Boulevard and the reconstruction of vehicle driveways that are impacted by the works.
The contract is a Lump Sum contract. The required Completion Date for the Works is 1st July 2016.
Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the Preferred Tenderer.
