Tender Description
Tenders are invited from experienced engineering contractors for the implementation of a stormwater harvesting and re-use scheme at Doyle Ground located on Fennell Street, North Parramatta.
The works include the following significant features:
1. Diversion of stormwater base flows at the southern end of Doyle Ground from a 1500mm diameter pipe running approximately north/south under the sporting fields.
2. Installation of a new CDS unit and new pump at the diversion, to pump 1L/s of diverted flows to a new filter and UV disinfection system.
3. Installation of a 100KL underground storage tank which will store the treated flows.
4. Demolition of the existing 20KL header tank and relocation of the existing header tank pump to the new 100KL tank.
5. Pump the stored water through an existing 90mm recycled watermain and connect this main to the existing irrigation system infrastructure at Doyle Ground.
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender early April 2016, with works anticipated to commence early April 2016.
