Tender Description
The department seeks a Proponent willing to commit capital for redevelopment and management of the former Coffs Harbour boat retrieval and maintenance facility as modern and compliant boat retrieval and boat maintenance facility including ancillary maritime purposes.
A new lease will be negotiated with the Preferred Proponent.
The site shall be made available to the successful Proponent after remediation of contamination of the dry and adjoining submerged lands. These works are programmed for completion by the department by June 2015.
This RFP seeks to identify a Successful Proponent over a similar timeframe to the site remediation process so they can take up occupation of the site under a new commercial lease as soon as practicable after the Site is certified to be decontaminated.
State funds could be made available as a Capital Contribution or as a Works Contribution which will be subject to negotiation between the preferred proponent/s and the Department.
