Tender Description
In response to a growth in the female prisoner population in South-East Queensland (SEQ), Queensland Corrective Services is seeking to develop a specialised women’s re-entry support service through a co-design process. This service will encompass Brisbane Womens Correctional Centre, Numinbah Correctional Centre and Helana Jones Centre and probation and parole offices in SEQ.
The objective of the SEQ Womens Re-entry Services is to reduce prisoner numbers through providing specific services tailored to female offenders that promote the overall wellbeing of women by preparing them for successful parole or return to the community and ultimately long term desistance from crime.
