Tender Description
The works comprise the design, provision and installation of playground equipment, associated soft fall and other facilities to meet the requirements of current Australian Standards within the Anula Regional Playground.
The scope of work will include but not limited to;
Fencing of worksite using temporary construction site fencing. Fencing shall be secured throughout construction and shall remain in place until testing and certification per clause 12 has been received by the City of Darwin and final completion issued. Temporary "Construction Site Keep Out" regulatory signs are to be installed during the construction phase.
Site preparation and clearing including but not limited to:
Demolition and disposal of existing kerbing where removal is required.
Stockpiling existing softfall sand on site for reuse.
Removal of concrete footings.
Backfill demolished footing hole with standard fill and compact to 95%MMDD.
Removal and disposal of ALL obsolete existing play equipment to a site nominated by the principal within the Darwin Palmerston area.
The provision and installation of new play equipment and facilities.
The provision and installation of new concrete kerbing to contain sand and/or rubberised softfall.
Provision of additional sand and/or rubberised softfall required to meet the fall zone requirements of new equipment.
Restoration of site including top soiling surrounding area with super blend topsoil to a depth of 100mm and seeding with approved grass seed as and where required.
For each site where an installation has taken place the provision of a report from an accredited playground equipment auditor certifying that the play equipment and softfall complies with current Australian Standards as applicable.
Building Permit application and Occupancy Permit from accredited certifier.
Smart LED lighting of the playground and other facilities area.
