Tender Description
This RFP invites Initial Proposals from suitably qualified entities to remove existing escalators, manufacture, install and commission new escalators in accordance with the PTA’s Escalator Specification 8880-000-004 and AS1735 (2015) and platform alterations as required. Post defects liability period, the Supplier is required to enter into a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Support Agreement for a period of 10 (ten) years.
The entity must demonstrate the necessary managerial, technical capability and capacity to fully participate in the ECI Stage 1 and then, subject to successful acceptance by PTA of the ECI Contractor’s Final Proposal to undertake the agreed Project Works in accordance with the detailed Project Documentation under the Stage 2 Design and Construct (D&C) Contract. Responsibility for the management of all detailed Project Documentation including all drawings will remain with the LDC. Additionally, the entity’s nominated Escalator Supplier will be offered the opportunity to undertake the required preventative maintenance in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Support Agreement.
This RFP is the first stage of a selection process to be used in selecting a Proponent that the PTA assesses as best qualified to achieve the Project Objectives and best satisfies the Evaluation Criteria, including the ability to work in an open and collaborative relationship to deliver the excellent outcomes required by the PTA.
Mandatory Briefing Session
Location: Theatrette at the Public Transport Centre West Parade Perth
Time/Date: 2.30pm Thursday Western Australian Time Thursday 10th December 2015
Instructions: Please congregate at the ground floor security desk by 2.15pm. The briefing session will be followed by an inspection at the Perth Underground and Esplanade Railway Stations.
