Expressions of Interest - Purchase of Mulch

⁠⁠⁠Somerset Regional Council. Expressions of Interest - Purchase of Mulch.

Expressions of interest are invited for the purchase and removal of up to 10,000 m2 of mulch from Fernvale.

The mulch has been created from vegetation debris collected following the aftermath of the supercell storm that struck parts of Somerset on 27 October.

Purchasers of mulch will be required to secure, load and cart mulch from collection sites set up near rest areas off the Brisbane Valley Highway, north of fernvale, before Geoff Fisher Bridge, at their own cost.

Offers to purchase and remove mulch will only be accepted in writing and need to be received by Somerset Regional Council by 5pm on Monday, 30 November 2015.

EOI will close on 30 November and collection of commercial loads will start from Monday, 7 December.

Expressions of Interest will need to be made in writing to Somerset Regional Council including contact details of applicant, quantity being requested and price being offered.

Once offers have been accepted by Council, and the recipient/s have been notified in writing, the security of mulch ceases to be the responsibility of Council and rests with the recipient/s.
