Moyhu Wastewater Scheme - Treatment Plant Construction

⁠⁠⁠North East Water is installing a reticulated wastewater scheme in the township of Moyhu. It has recently completed the reticulation collection pipework, which will collect the effluent from the outlet of the existing septic tanks.

This Septic Tank Effluent Discharge system (STEDs) allows for flat grade pipework and reduced loading at the centralised treatment plant. The pump stations and rising main will be installed in January 2016.

A suitable site for a treatment plant and irrigation in Sawmill Lane, Moyhu has been identified. A completed detailed design of facultative lagoons treatment plant and winter storage forms the scope of this tender.

North East Water is now inviting interested parties to tender for the construction of the treatment plant and associated works.
