General Waste Collection Services

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide General Waste Collection Services across the region. Services include:

General Waste Collection Services (for Council Facilities and Residential and Commercial Service-Entitled Premises) including particular requirements for:

- Kerbside Collection Services (from Mobile Bins);
- Wheel-out Wheel-back Collection Services (Mobile Bins);
- Multiple Collection Services;
- Temporary Collection Services;
- Extra Collection Services;
- Missed Collection Services.

Disposal of General Waste at the Nominated Waste Management Facilities;
- Removal, Transport and Disposal of Dead Animals (Defined Contract Area D – Roma
Only)
- Small Animals – dogs, cats, rabbits etc.
- Medium Animals – kangaroos, sheep, goats, small calves, pigs etc.
- Large Animals – cattle, horses, etc.
- Industrial Bins (optional for Defined Contract Area B only – Mitchell, Mungallala, Amby, Muckadilla, Begonia & Dunkeld)

The Contractor is required to provide all Labour, Facilities, Vehicles, Plant and Equipment or other items required to properly perform the Services as set out in the Specification to Service-Entitled Premises and Council Facilities within the Defined Waste Collection Area (Appendix B of Specification) and the Defined Contract Areas (Appendix C of Specification).
