Tender Description
The Ian Potter Australian Wildlife Biobank will be a dedicated storage facility for Museum Victoria’s faunal tissue collection of approximately 40,000 vial samples. The Biobank will store the collections in liquid nitrogen freezers with immediate capacity for 160,000 samples and allow for future growth more than double this capacity. A Low DNA Extraction Laboratory will be constructed adjacent to the Biobank and will be the entry and exit point for the facility.
This EOI seeks the supply and handling liquid nitrogen essential to the ongoing operations of the new facility to be located at Melbourne Museum.
