Tender Description
Tenders are invited and will be received up to 2pm Tuesday 1 December 2015 for:
The complete gutting, Design and Construction modernisation of Newcastle City Halls' commercial kitchen, to improve the function and efficiency of the kitchen whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant food handling, fire safety and building codes.
Alternatively, a compact disk is available for a non-refundable fee of $35 GST inclusive from the Customer Enquiry Centre, Ground Floor City Administration Centre, 282 King Street, Newcastle, 2300 or by calling (02) 4974-2030.
Responsibility for lodgement by the deadline lies solely with the tenderer. Lodgement information is provided in the tender document. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on the 11th November 2015. More details including time and date are provided in the tender documents. The intention of this meeting is to provide tenderers the opportunity to ask questions relating to the tender, and take measurements and photographs of City Hall kitchen as required to complete the tender. Whilst this is a non-mandatory event, it Councils deems it highly desirable for all tenderers to attend the session. Attendance is at the tenderer's expense.
