Tender Description
Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the redevelopment of the turf playing fields at Vale of Ah – Auld Avenue, Milperra.
The works at Vale of Ah are to include the elimination of the existing turf cover (by others). This will be followed by milling of the turf mat and using a rotary hoe to incorporate the dead material into the soil.
Bulk laser grading shall then establish the specified design surface levels. The stage 1 sub soil sand slit drainage and drainage collection system shall be coordinated with the installation of the new irrigation and water tank.
After the above installations, a final laser levelling shall occur to obtain the design which shall allow for the laying of new turf to take place. The works shall require careful turf establishment practices as specified
The stage 2 drainage will take place after the turf is sufficiently anchored by new roots. Mowing will take place as specified during the works and maintenance periods.
There shall also be a need to remove all waste material from the site.
