Tender Description
The development of specialist mental health-residential aged care partnership services is a key element of the NSW Ministry of Health’s Pathways to Community Living Initiative. As part of this Initiative, the procurement will focus on the expansion of services of older people with severe and enduring mental illness and / or dementia and aged care needs. There are two service models to be developed:
* MHACPI Specialist transition units within residential aged care partnership facilities; and
* Specialist Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF).
Service development is proposed for the following Local Health Districts; Western Sydney, Hunter New England and Northern Sydney.
