This Standing Offer Arrangement covers TMR’s requirements for cement in bulk bagged and bulk form.
While the requirement is primarily for TMR, this Standing Offer Arrangement is for the use of all state government departments and approved non- state government bodies.
The objectives of establishing a new arrangement for the cementitious products is to:
* Secure a continuous supply of cementitious products that conforms to TMR specifications.
* Follow an open the tender process, in so doing encouraging the producers of these products to respond in areas within the state that they believe they will be competitive.
* A reduction in the difficulty of securing supply by strengthening TMR’s relationships with suppliers and the industry body.
* Employ market management that improves the competitive supply of these products.
