Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably skilled and experienced Project Management Consultant firms that can demonstrate a proven track record in delivering retail projects.
The consultant shall represent Council who are the owners / client /developer of the project and shall lead and direct all aspects of the project delivery from now until completion. The project is to be procured on a design and construct basis. Anticipated construction start is early 2017 with a two year programme.
The site presently operates as an on grade carpark and is approximately 6,600sqm, bounded by Rosenthal Avenue and Birdwood Avenue in Lane Cove. The project comprises approximately 500 cars over four basement levels, loading and delivery facilities, a level of retail comprising a supermarket (3,660sqm) and a mini major (1,100sqm), and a state-of-the-art public open space on top supported by a small amount of specialty retail.
