Request for Information (RFI) - Supply & Delivery of Bulk Fuel

⁠⁠⁠LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT (LGP) is currently preparing to publically advertise a tender on behalf of councils, certain State Government Agencies and other eligible customers in NSW & ACT for the Supply & Delivery of Bulk Fuels.

As per the below link to the Procurement Alert issued on 20 April 2015 The NSW Office of Finance and Services advises that Contract 366 Supply of Bulk Fuel to NSW Government will lapse on 1 January 2016 and not be extended. The resulting contract from the LGP tender process will be established to replace this contract and ensure continuity of supply for eligible customers.

LGP is currently seeking a Request for Information (RFI) from any Suppliers of Bulk Fuel within NSW or interested parties to provide information or advice to assist the establishment of contract and specification documents that will benefit all stakeholders.

The information provided can take any form and on any category that you believe will assist by addressing any inadequacies, shortcomings, suggested enhancement or otherwise improve the process, pricing basis, purchasing and supplying to customers of current contracts for the Supply & Delivery of Bulk Fuels in NSW & ACT.

It should be noted that;
1. A Tender will be publically advertised very soon and as such LGP have limited time to gain and utilise any feedback provided.
2. A Tender briefing session will be conducted as part of the Tender process to ensure all potential Tenderers have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the LGP Tender process.
3. This RFI in no way provides any Tenderer with advantage or disadvantage with the resulting Tender process, rather, it provides LGP an opportunity to refine and consider feedback from the industry.
