Tender Description
This is an Open Call for Tenders and is the first stage in a project to conduct the fieldwork for the 2016 National Drug Strategy Household Survey. The 2016 Survey will be the twelfth in a series that commenced in 1985. It is managed by the Australian Institute of Health & Welfare on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health. The Survey is to be conducted Australia-wide and involves approximately 20,000-25,000 persons aged 12 years and older.
Prior to 2010, the Survey has consisted of a combination of two collection modes: drop-and-collect (self-completion) and computer assisted telephone interviews (CATI). The 2010 and 2013 surveys were administered using the drop and collect mode only. Interested parties are encouraged to tender based on collection modes they consider would be most effective. The relative strengths and benefits of the collection strategy recommended should be highlighted.
