Tender Details
Tender Description
Lower Murray Water (LMW) continually monitors and evaluates the condition of the reticulated sewer networks in its various Sewerage Districts as part of its commitment to service delivery. The sewer networks maintained by LMW consist of main line sewers (SMN's), attached sewer maintenance structures including sewer maintenance holes (SMH's) and house branch connections on the sewer main. SMN's and SMH's identified as being in need of rehabilitation are included in an annual sewer rehabilitation program based on a criticality rating and a history that may include breakages, root infestation, infiltration, a condition that has caused a blockage and/or spill, exhibits structural damage due to corrosion or ground movement or if in the opinion of LMW, the potential risk of collapse of the sewer and its overburden needs to be eliminated to protect public safety and avoid property damage etc.
This specification details the Contract requirements for LMW's annual sewer rehabilitation program to be awarded over a 3 year term.
