Expression of Interest Additional Information - September 2015
Despite strong interest in the Murrindindi Bushfire Memorial Design EOI documentation, Council received insuffcient responses to enable a robust competitive and consultative process. Council has investigated this and has decided to re-open the EOI process.
Murrindindi Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations and individuals to complete the designs for permanent memorials commemorating the fires of February 2009 in the Murrindindi Shire.
It has been agreed that there will be two central memorials located in the Kinglake Ranges and Marysville with four local memorials at Narbethong, Castella/Toolangi, Kinglake West and Flowerdale.
A short list of respondents will be selected to provide more detailed concept designs (not the final designs) including 3 dimensional drawings or models, which will be put on display around the Shire for comment and to enable people to indicate, by survey, which they prefer.
