Design and Construction of Lyndhurst Lane Bridge

⁠⁠⁠SDRC004873 - Southern Downs Regional Council (Council) has identified the requirement to undertake the replacement of the existing Lyndhurst Lane Bridge and its road approaches where Lyndhurst Lane crosses Condamine River at Rosehill. The existing bridge is a single lane structure consisting of three corrugated elliptical culvert cells approximately 29m long that convey the Condamine River east to west.  The single lane carriageway is 4.0m wide across the bridge.

The existing structure is in poor condition and the narrow width poses a risk to the traffic as motorists with limited passing capacity within the current road width.

It is the expectation the Southern Downs Regional Council (SDRC) to replace the existing timber bridge in a Design and Construction (D&C) contract.
