Construct a Waste Disposal Trench at Leeton Landfill & Recycling Depot

⁠⁠⁠Leeton Shire Council (LSC) invites Lump sum tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to construct a waste disposal trench at Leeton Landfill and Recycling Depot, 732 Corbie Hill Road, Leeton NSW 2705.

The Tender will be required to construct the trench in accordance with LSC contract documents – Technical Specification for Construction of Landfill Disposal Trench dated 6 August 2015.

Prospective Tenders can register their Interest and access the contract documents from Council’s website at www.leeton.nsw.gov.au

Tenderers are required to demonstrate their capacity, financial, legal, regulatory and technical capability for completing the project within a reasonable timeframe, have had previous experience with similar projects and demonstrate a commitment to WHS and sustainable environmental management.

Tender contract documents should be completed and returned by marking “CONFIDENTIAL LANDFILL TENDER Contract 1—15/16” and placing in a sealed envelope and endorsed with the tender title, number, and closing date, and placed in the Tender Box located Leeton Shire Council, 23-25 Cheimsford Place Leeton NSW 2705, by the nominated time and date. Electronic submission to council@leeton.nsw.gov.au will be received with subject heading “CONFIDENTIAL LANDFILL TENDER Contract 1-15/16”.

Tenders close at 3pm on 23 September 2015 and Tenders must be fully received by this time. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondant(s) as it sees fit.

Tenders will be assessed based on their:
* Demonstrated Understanding of the Technical Specification and demonstrated capacity.
* Recognition and provision for appropriate sampling and testing by the Tenderer to verify standards at key stages in the project
* Value for money.
