Enliven Pittwater Representatives

⁠⁠⁠Pittwater Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for two social and cultural representative positions on the Leadership Group of the “Enliven Pittwater” initiative.

Applicants must be Pittwater residents.

* Rep. 1:  Arts and cultural representative (must have established skills and experience in the arts)
* Rep. 2:  Community representative (people aged under 30 years are encouraged to apply)

Interested people should demonstrate the following:-

* A shared vision of “an enlivened Pittwater” and an ability to engage, motivate and inspire others towards that vision.
* A commitment to working collaboratively across the Pittwater community.
* Active connection with relevant networks and interest groups that can be aligned with the project.
* Ability to drive and champion the Enliven Pittwater project.
* Knowledge of community development principles.

“Enliven Pittwater” aims to enhance and revitalise streetlife throughout Pittwater’s town and village centres, and deliver key social, cultural and economic development outcomes throughout Pittwater’s local communities.  The project will be championed by a Leadership Group (on which the successful applicants will sit alongside representatives from local Chambers of Commerce, Pittwater Business Ltd and Pittwater Councillors).  The project will be delivered in partnership between the business community, the arts and cultural community, Council and interested community organisations, groups and individuals.

The Expressions of Interest will be reviewed by a panel consisting of:-

* Two Pittwater Councillors from the Leadership Group
* Pittwater Council’s General Manager
* Pittwater Council’s Manager, Place Management.
* It is expected that successful applicants would commence with the Leadership Group in November 2015
