Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) is requesting interested parties to tender for Facilities Management (FM) Services for various locations within the Gold Coast region.

The successful tenderer will be required to manage the following facilities:

* Gold Coast University Hospital
* Southport Health Precinct
* Other properties, including Robina Hospital, Carrara Health Centre, Robina Health Precinct and other community centres throughout the region.

The objective for the FM Services contract is to implement a contract which:

* represents best practice in the delivery of FM Services within a health environment and enhances the delivery of clinical services, which includes - ensuring the health and safety of workers and appropriate managing any health and safety risks arising from the delivery of the FM Services;
* provides best value for money through optimising possible efficiencies by way of an integrated service approach;
* implements a "best of breed" performance regime that is able to provide the GCHHS with certainty of service quality without creating a significant cost impost;
* supports continuous improvement in service delivery, technology and efficiency; and
* supports and enhances the relevant GCHHS Policies and whole of government policies and practices.

The tender consists of the following five (5) volumes:

* Volume One - Instructions to Tenderers
* Volume Two - Draft Services Specifications
* Volume Three - Draft Facilities Management Contract
* Volume Four - Returnable Schedules
* Volume Five - Reference Information.

Tenderers will be required to follow all required briefing sessions and site visits as detailed below:

* Mandatory briefing sessions and site visits - 09/09/2015, commencing at 9:00am.
