Provision for Full Pharmacy Service, IV Fluids, Ward Box, Preferred Supplier

⁠⁠⁠Melbourne Health have commenced a major project to review the Pharmacy category. The objective of the strategy is to identify cost savings and process efficiencies, and in partnership with our key suppliers to work at optimising (over the long term) the costs of pharmaceutical products and associated services. Central to this strategy will be the identification of suitable distribution partners that are able to provide immediate cost savings, but who also have the capability and commitment to offer specialist knowledge to assist Melbourne Health realise sustainable benefits and make further continuous improvements. Invitations are sought from suitably qualified organisations for the provision of the following goods and services:

Intravenous Fluids

Ward Box Delivery Services

General Pharmaceutical Products

Suppliers may submit a response for one or more of the components. Melbourne Health intend to establish if bundling the services together or separating them out will be the optimum model. Tenderers will be required to submit a response in the attached spreadsheet, completing all relevant tabs as set out in the instructions tab.
