Tender Description
Douglas Shire Council requires experienced NDRRA contractor(s) to undertake rehabilitation of two landslip sites. Site 1 located on Stewart Creek Road, Stewart Creek Valley consists of restabilisation of the Stewart Creek bank with gabion structures and repairs to the unsealed road. Site 2 located on McDowall Lane, Lower Daintree consists of restabilisation of the Daintree River bank with a placed rock structure and repairs to the unsealed road. Both repairs are to be completed prior to the "wet season" commencement. Civil Contractors may tender for one or both sites.
