Tender Description
TfNSW advises that a Registration Of Interest for the Design and Construction of Granville Substation and ancillary works will be issued in August 2015, as part of the Power Supply Upgrade (PSU) Program. This ROI will result in a short-list for second stage process.
It is anticipated that the D&C documentation will be issued to short-listed Tenderers around September 2015.
TfNSW encourages innovation in the design and delivery of all projects within the PSU Program.
The projects works include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Design, procurement and construction of a new 2 x 5 MW traction substation building;
* Design, procurement and installation of a new 11kV and 33kV switchboards;
* Design, procurement and installation of 1500V DC circuit breakers and IRCS;
* Design, procurement and installation of 415V AC & 120V DC control and protection ancillary equipment;
* Design, Procurement, modification and installation of associated 1500V DC Overhead Wire infrastructure;
* Design, Procurement and installation of Under Track Crossings and Combined Service Routes;
* Connection of new infrastructure to existing AC & DC Feeders electrical networks;
* Management and Testing and Commissioning of all items listed above as an Accredited Engineering Organisation;
* Demolition of redundant infrustructure including the existing Granville Substation;
* Relocation of all necessary existing stormwater, sewerage &HV, LV & Comms electrical services on site & surrounding infrastructure; and
* Connection & integration of relocated services with existing adjacent buildings and existing underground services.
