Applications Requested for Provision of Catering Services

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking written expressions of interest from businesses/organisations/individuals interested in providing catering for each monthly Council Meeting held in Urana Shire Council Chambers, and any additional functions/meetings where catering is required.

The catering involves provision of a full meal, either entree and main, or main and sweets, (alternating each month) along with setting up of the tables, washing dishes, and cleaning up the tables and kitchen afterwards.

Council Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of the month (subject to change), with the first catering required to be carried out for the 11th August, 2015 Council Meeting, being Local Government Week, involving the cooking of a BBQ at Victoria Park Rec Ground for Councillors, Staff, Teachers and School children, to be ready by 1.05 pm. Council provides everything except coleslaw, onions, cooks and servers. Further information is available on request. Please note the same will apply for the Council Meeting in August 2016.

There is currently no meeting in January each year.

The following is a list of times and dates for services required for the current and following year to the end of the current Council term, being the end of the catering agreement.

(Other services possibly required subject to availability/agreement, and the above dates and times are subject to change and if so, prior notice will be given.)

Applications should outline examples of catering experience, current or ability to obtain NSW Food Authority registration as a Food Business, along with two referees, and an estimated price per catering event.
