Managed Public Access IT Facilities & Services

⁠⁠⁠The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites tenders for the supply of public computing facilities as a managed service for public use at the City's Libraries, City Spaces and Child & Family Service centres.

Tenderers are required to provide responses that meet the requirements set out in Volume 2 for a managed solution that in summary includes:
* Supply of computer and printing facilities as a service for use by the public;
* Development and management of a Standard Operating Environment(s) (SOE) and customised builds to suit the public use scenarios;
* Supply of a solution for the management of public computers, printers and copier facilities including components required for time allocation, payments and reporting as a service. Tenderers should note that the City's preferred solution is Monitor Supervisor Net but an alternative solution may be considered;
* Pilot implementation and support during testing of the pilot deployment for all facilities required to make the solution fully operational and secure business sign* off;
* Rollout of the solution to City sites as per the Initial Device Deployment (Appendix A);
* Service level based management of the facilities and services on an ongoing basis;
* Hardware and software to be maintained in good order and at current versions

SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box (preferred) using the attached returnable forms. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion. Submissions can also be placed in a sealed envelope and endorsed with the tender title, number, and closing date, and placed in the Tender Box located Town Hall House, Level 1, 456 Kent Street Sydney 2000 by the nominated time and date.

Tenders close at 11AM AEST on 25 August 2015 and submissions must be fully received by this time. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit.
