Anzac Park is a busy regional playground located in the heart of Campsie - the bustling multicultural centre of Canterbury Local Government Area.
The scope of the project is to upgrade an existing play space to provide enhanced quality of play that is contemporary and caters for a broad range of age groups and users. The site currently contains an existing playground, paved pathways, tables, chairs and other park furniture, and is surrounded by mature and significant Camphor Laurel trees.
The new play area will include an adult exercise station, giant climbing net, basket swing, junior play area accompanied by a sensory all abilities area, wide coloured concrete pathways, rubber softfall in all play areas, large shelter with tables and seating, gardens, landscaping and park furniture.
The works are situated off Anglo Road, near the town centre of Campsie, NSW 2194.
