Sewer Rehabilitation Terang, Hamilton, Warrnambool Port Fairy

⁠⁠⁠The Works include, but are not necessarily limited to, the supply of all materials, plant and labour of whatever kind necessary for the following:

* Participation in site inspections with the Principal as required in the investigation design phase to help work through customer construction issues and visually record the existing pre construction conditions of the site to be renewed (i.e. condition of property, roadway etc.);
* Conducting CCTV pre inspections of the sewers to be lined prior to lining works commencing;
* Design of new sewer liner;
* Advising the Principal of the proposed lining method and pipe or liner class;
* Cleaning of sewers to be lined prior to commencement of lining works;
* Lining of sewers;
* Reconnection of Property Connections, including fully reopening existing property connections using an appropriate "No dig" technology
* Sealing any annulus gap between the pipe liner and property connection sewer (i.e. using a lateral connection liner) at locations shown on the drawings;
* Repair of damaged sections of pipe using an approved method;
* Supply of all materials, plant and equipment for sewer relining;
* Liaison with authorities and other organisations having jurisdiction in connection with carrying out the Sewer Relining works;
* Replacement and or raising and replacement of manhole covers, as directed.
* Notification of property owners 7 days in advance of any works within or directly affecting their property;
* Obtaining written permission for access to properties where applicable;
* Submission to the Principal of applicable quality documentation, such as site hazard assessments, etc. This includes obtaining permission from the appropriate Electricity Company when works are within the defined "No Go" zone for overhead power lines.
* By pass pumping/flow control of sewers during relining works in accordance with the Project Specification
* Delivery of pre construction customer information letters.
* Preparing and working to a Traffic Management Plan around the construction area;
* Obtaining a Road Opening Permit from Council (includes paying for any inspection fees)
* Acceptance testing of sewers in accordance with requirements of specification
* Providing one set of CCTV DVD's and reports for all re lined sewers;
* Cleaning up of the site on completion of the works;
* Site restoration of areas affected by the Works including road pavements, grassed areas and landscaped areas including all Statutory charges and fees;
* Obtaining a written release from residents where access to private property was required. The Principal reserves the right to carry out restoration of private property, at the Contractors cost, if the restoration works undertaken do not meet the required standard
* Participation in "Final Inspections" and/or attending to outstanding items.
