Plant (Dry) Hire Services

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking the dry hire of two (2) excavators (20 tonne and 14 tonne minimum) for use in landfill waste recovery at the Principal's Henderson Waste Recovery Park, 920 Rockingham Road, Henderson WA.

The plant will be operated by competent and qualified employees of the Principal to undertake the following tasks:

a) Excavator 20 tonne: Recover recyclable materials or products unsuitable for burial at landfill (at the discretion of the principal) from approximately 100,000 tonnes of waste per annum generated from both commercial users and residential trailer traffic (approximately 20,000 per annum).

b) Excavator 14 tonne: Recover recyclable materials or products unsuitable for burial at landfill (at the discretion of the principal) from approximately 100,000 tonnes of waste per annum generated from both commercial users and residential trailer traffic (approximately 20,000 per annum).

c) Such other work and/or services as directed by the Principal.

The successful Tenderer will be required to provide, tools and equipment, plant maintenance and repairs necessary to ensure continuous plant hire to the Principal under the Contract.

All plant is to be equipped with a full roll over protection (ROP) cab with air conditioning, external rear view mirrors, steel bar glass protection on all but the rear window.

The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of two (2) years with a Principal instigated option to extend for a further one (1) year period, and then for up to twelve (12) months after that to a maximum of four (4) years.
