Heritage Impact Statement - Construction of Hepburn Council and Community Services Hub on the Daylesford Town Hall site, 78 Vincent Street, Daylesford.
The development of the Hepburn Council and Community Services Hub aims to:
Improve services Shire wide to meet the requirement for larger libraries and increase and enhance community spaces
Improve accessibility and compliance as current buildings are inaccessible and non-compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act
Integration of Council offices to achieve improved working conditions for staff and achieve operational cost savings by reducing the number of buildings to deliver services
Sell surplus assets to fund the project and reduce Council's maintenance and renewal burden
Reduce energy use through Environmentally Sustainable Design
