Provision of External Audit Services

⁠⁠⁠The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Limited (RACT) is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of: External audit services; and Internal audit/related consultancy services for a three year period incorporating the financial years 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.

The RACT Group supplies services across the fields of roadside assistance, motoring safety and technical services, personal lines insurance and other financial services, travel and tourism to its 170,000+ members and customers.

RACT is a company limited by guarantee and is committed to conducting its affairs consistent with the highest standards of corporate governance and quality assurance. Audited full and concise reports are required for statutory compliance and distribution to members in accordance with all relevant legislation and accounting standards.

External audit applicants must be registered company auditors. Applicants may tender for either one or both roles, but each role requires a separate application, and given independence requirements, separate firms will be appointed to the external and internal audit roles.

Request for Tender packs will be supplied to each applicant from July 10, 2015 following receipt of their expressions of interest and the closing date for bids will be July 31, 2015.
