Tender Description
Council invites Expressions of Interest from consortia/entities wishing to be included in Council’s Civil Works Approved Contractor List. Use of Contractors on the Approved Contractor List will give Council the security that it is dealing with licensed contractors who are accredited or committed to relevant standards, have proven knowledge of Work Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management and are appropriately licensed and insured.
At this time of inviting Expressions of Interest, contractors qualified and experienced in the following work categories are required:
* Road (sealed and unsealed) pavement construction and rehabilitation,
* Stormwater drainage construction/reconstruction,
* Concrete floodway construction/rehabilitation.
Due to the recent damage suffered to assets during Cyclone Marcia some of the above work categories will be required to be undertaken as part of the 2015 NDRRA flood restoration works.
