Provision of Landscape Services

⁠⁠⁠The Yarra Ranges Shire Council (“the Council”) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties to supply Landscape Services (“the Services”).

Landscape Services comprises three (3) service categories including Fencing, Garden Maintenance and Landscape Construction.

Tenderers must select the Categories they are tendering for in Schedule 2. Council is seeking contractors who can perform the Services from their own resources without the need to use sub-contractors. Therefore, tenderers should only select the Category or Categories that reflect their core business capability and experience. Please do not select Categories that are not core to your business.

The Services undertaken will generally be valued at less than $150,000 per individual project.

Council proposes, through the evaluation process outlined in the Tender Documents, to appoint a panel of between five (5) and eight (8) suppliers for the services comprising between:
* 1 and 2 for Fencing;
* 1 and 2 for Garden Maintenance; and
* 3 and 4 for Landscape Construction.

Where more than one (1) tenderer is selected in any Category, tenderers will be selected based on price and availability.

However, tenderers are not guaranteed any work under this contract.

Successful tenderers will only be eligible for work after their Health & Safety Management System and supporting OH&S information conforms with Council requirements.

The term of the Services will be two (2) years with Council having the option to extend the Services by three (3) periods of two (2) years each.

One (1) month prior to contract expiry, Council will assess each contractor’s performance during the previous contract term in respect to producing quality work, availability, timeliness and OH&S performance. Council will complete the review of each contractor no later than one (1) month prior to the contract end date and decide which contracts will be extended for two years and which will not. Contractors will be notified of Council’s decision at this time.
